OVERVIEW.
CHALLENGE.
What stood out to me immediately was how much room there is for error when vehicle registration data is entered manually, especially when VIN numbers and other document details are difficult to read. That creates friction not only for dealerships and workshops, but also for drivers who depend on that information being entered correctly. The challenge was to turn a physical document into a clean digital process—simple enough to use on a phone, reliable enough to reduce input mistakes, and structured enough to support everything that happens after capture.
APPROACH.
I designed the experience around a straightforward mobile flow: log in, capture the document, process the images, review the extracted information, make corrections if needed, and send the data forward into a connected panel. My focus was on reducing friction at every step—making document capture feel manageable, keeping AI-assisted extraction understandable, and giving users confidence that they could review and correct the result before saving or sharing it. The whole UI and UX were shaped around making that end-to-end flow feel simple, practical, and dependable.
OUTCOME.
The result was a much clearer product direction for handling registration certificate data as a mobile-first workflow instead of a manual administrative task. By moving from paper-based reading and typing to capture, extraction, correction, and transfer, I helped shape a more efficient path for turning physical documents into structured digital information. That gave the product a solid foundation as a practical tool for reducing errors, speeding up document handling, and connecting mobile capture with a broader panel-based workflow.
